Tier 1 and Tier 2 (bigger) HPC systems

If your research computing jobs are sufficiently large that it is challenging running them in a timely manner on on the University’s ShARC or Iceberg HPC systems then you may want to apply for access to larger national HPC systems. ShARC and Iceberg are known nationally as Tier 3 HPC systems; for details of the capabilities and access requirements of the UK’s Tier 2 (larger) and Tier 1 (even larger) HPC systems see http://www.hpc-uk.ac.uk/facilities/.
